1.  Is it true that authors are much like poets in that they have these ideas or words floating in their head that you must get out? Is that how your inspiration comes or evolves?

I always have words floating around in my head, screaming to be written. J I wrote poetry for years and still do…the rhyming kind.

Inspiration comes from anything, everywhere. It could be a name, a plot idea, a news article, something someone said—anything can spark that need to write.

2.  What led you to the decision to begin writing erotica?

My first editor at Evernight can take kudos for that. They loved the story but I had to ramp up the heat. No problem! J

3. Who was your greatest inspiration or role model you endear that helped you?

My greatest inspiration comes from the love of reading itself. I won a couple of competitions in school, but put my writing on hold to raise a family.

I love Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel, John Grisham; just to name a few.

4. What led you to write “Trouble Brewing” and how did you draw out your characters?

During the writing of Thunder Creek Ranch Books 1 and 2, Lucas and Winnie were there and I grew to love them. I started wondering how her son’s mischief had affected their marriage, the wheels started turning, and I knew I had to write their story. I’d gotten to know them so well, their perks and personalities, that I had to work them through their troubles so they could arrive at their HEA again.

5. Where do you see yourself in the next two years? Be paperback published for example? Or how do you envision for your future?

The success of my Thunder Creek Ranch series has been absolutely amazing! Zakia and the Cowboy is scheduled to go to print this spring, and it is my hope that the rest of the series will follow.

I self-published two Christmas titles on Amazon and they’ve done really well, too.

I’m also seriously considering re-releasing my children’s books, which I published during the early 90’s. At that time, I wrote for my kid’s age group. These days, I write for mine. J

Writing is a hobby that I love! I have quite a backlist waiting to be revised and subbed, whenever I can find the time. Now that I’ve started, I can’t see an end to it. J I can’t not write. It’s part of who I am. To be able to craft believable stories and entertain readers is my only ambition. If it helps pay the bills someday, all the better.

Winnie crossed the room to switch on the bedside light, turn down the covers, and close the drapes, creating a cozy feel to the room. He took off his shirt and held his arms open wide. She rushed into them.
